This saddle clamp is not just any old part. Its 9 grams have been optimized using advanced calculation methods to make the aluminum clamp even stronger than the titanium M5 screw that tightens it, withstanding a torque of over 10Nm.
Titanium screws
The screw, made of titanium, is tightened using a Torx T25 wrench, the most universal tool on the bike. This element has a spherical seat to adapt to the deformation of the clamp throughout the tightening process. Its design prevents mud from getting trapped between the seat post and the clamp.
