In the area where the frame is anchored, a special varnish with abrasive particles has been applied to improve fixation without the need for excessive tightening, ensuring stability in the most demanding conditions.
Each unit is tailored to its exact measurements, allowing for precise positioning of the saddle clamping area and optimization of the carbon tube wall thickness. The clamping area is reinforced with 90º fibers to prevent oval deformation of the tube. The result: a weight reduction of between 15 and 30 grams compared to standard models.
Inspired by the proven Thomson® design, the new Carbolink® system combines that reliability with the lightness of the individual tie-down system. It uses carbon fiber straps to connect one tie-down to the other and allow rotation. It includes custom M6 hardware, achieving an additional weight reduction of 14 grams compared to the original HELIUM.
The aluminum tube features an elegant natural hard anodized finish, which not only highlights its striking color, but also provides superior protection against wear and corrosion. In addition, its low roughness allows for smooth gliding.
